In 2001 Cafédirect was listed in the Inner City 100 list of fastest growing inner city companies. In order to qualify for the index, the company had to fulfil a number of criteria, including job creation, social responsibility and turnover growth since 1996. Over the past five years Cafédirect's turnover has grown by 148% to £7.2m and the number employees has risen from three to 15.
