Who are its shareholders?
Cafédirect has four founder shareholders from the alternative trade sector, who were brought together for the express purpose of developing a pioneering Fairtrade brand to open up the coffee market. They are Oxfam, Twin Trading, Traidcraft and Equal Exchange. Each founding member provided initial funding and owned 25,000 ordinary £1 shares. They each still retain 25% ownership of the company.
