What is the company structure?
Cafédirect is run by a board of eight - one nominee from each shareholder, three independent non-executive directors and Cafédirect's Managing Director, Penny Newman. Since 2002 three producer representatives - two from coffee and one from tea - attend strategic board meetings twice a year to help shape future developments of the company.
The bi-annual producer conference also feeds into the company's direction and development.
