Apart from the stakeholdings in football clubs, ENIC has a 40% interest in Warner Bros. Studio Stores Ltd. In their Media and Gaming division, they have interests in Autonomy (a software applications developer), New Media Investments and UKbetting.com. But this is an example of a company that began as an investment trust - a format that tends to be concerned solely with building shareholder value, and less focused on the products or services that generate this.
