Who works for the business?

As with many small firms, Purely Organic is a family-run business. In addition to Tony and Eleanor Free, their daughter also works for the company and is one of six part- and full-time employees.

The business is not unusual for a firm of its size in having no discernible management structure. When a large order is being prepared, everyone on the site gets involved in all aspects of the operation.

It is inevitable that as the business grows it will need more specialised labour: financial, health and safety and production staff may all have to be recruited. But for now, Purely Organic bears all the hallmarks of a small, family-run firm.
