What are their main products and services?

Spextacular offer customers a wide choice of frames through the Web site and then get the lenses made up with the customer's individual prescription through an optical manufacturer. The glasses are carefully packaged in a hard glasses case and padded envelope and posted out to the customer's home address. Customers can also choose from a selection of lens options such as tinting, thinner lenses, transitions (lenses that darken in bright lights) and UV and/or scratch resistant coating. They also sell a small range of accessories such as lens cleaners.

Spextacular take Accor Eyecare vouchers as part or full payment for spectacles. These are often provided by employers for staff who use computers and VDUs for long periods of time at work to help them to pay for their glasses.

They offer a 'Try B4U Buy' service to large Devon-based employers. This is a scheme where the proprietor, Chris King, takes her frames into a workplace and employees can try a selection of styles on to see which suit them best. If they wish to order, the glasses are made up to the individual's prescription and returned to the business premises within seven days.
