Anti-TV groups do, of course, exist. One of the most prominent in the US is 'Kill Your Television'. One of its more popular suggestions is as follows: 'Do you like reality TV? Then go outside!' An antidote to modern TV, if ever there was one. "See that box? That box can hold 64,000 pieces of information about you!" Comment attributed to a STB manufacturer in the USA. It is the gathering of information about you the viewer, when using digital TV that worries organisations such as White Dot, an international anti-TV campaigning group.
