Wanna Argument?
Shouldn't we just let young people enjoy themselves by letting them drive young, like in the USA?
Driving when you're young is a great experience for many. It gives you a sense of having grown up and having your own personal freedom to go where you want when you want. Get a car and for the first time in your life, you're not relying on your parents or the bus for transport.
But the pleasure you can get from driving can all too easily turn into thrill-seeking. Peer pressure can lead to competitive driving. Plus, the greater the number of passengers travelling with younger drivers, the higher the risk of accidents.

Compared to driving alone, the risk of a fatal accident for young drivers is:
- 39% higher with 1 passenger
- 85% higher with 2
- 182% higher with 3 or more
