The Business of Making Music - The Report
As you have worked through this investigation you will have generated a series of answers to the tasks that you have completed and have built up a greater understanding of the issues facing those working in the music business. These will provide you with the basis for the final report, which you are now going to write up. You can use much of the answers to the tasks you have completed to 'cut and paste' to form the main arguments in each of the three sections you have to deal with.
Task
Remember the task is a report of between 1,500 and 2,000 words covering the following areas:
- What changes are occurring in the music industry in terms of the relationships between artists and management/record companies and what is driving those changes?
- Why property rights in the music industry is an essential component of the business.
- An evaluation of the future direction of the music industry.
