25 February 1998 - International [Poland]
The National Bank of Poland's Monetary Policy Council decides to narrow the crawling peg of the zloty, the rate of devaluation against a basket of currencies, from a monthly rate of 1 % to 0. 8 %. In addition, the trading band of the zloty is to be widened from ± 7% to ± 10%.
