An Overview of Business Online

This resource is designed specifically for Unit 6 of the Edexcel BTEC qualification, 'Business Online' but may have considerable relevance to units within other qualifications.

The concepts covered in 'Business Online' are very large and no single resource can hope to cover all of these areas in sufficient detail for students to become experts in this area. However, we have produced a series of resources which give a good overview of the concepts, skills, techniques and issues involved in developing Web sites.

The resources can be completed in the suggested order below or educators might prefer to build schemes of work based on individual sections. Although we have defined terms as they are met, dipping in and out of the various sections may result in definitions being missed. In this case we recommend reading back through the resources to gain an understanding of the concepts or referring to the glossary of terms.
