The Structure of the Travel and Tourism Industry - Lesson PlanThis resource is designed specifically for Unit 1 of the Edexcel BTEC National qualification, 'The Travel and Tourism Industry', although it will be of relevance to centres following other awarding bodies' programmes. Aim:To investigate and analyse the structure of the UK's travel and tourism industry. The lesson will focus on identifying the main characteristics of both sides of the industry. Note that this is possibly a lengthy lesson, which is likely to be better delivered over two sessions, supported with additional research time and tutor guidance as the students tackle the tasks. Your efforts to link student contributions will help them appreciate this complexity.
