Holiday Representatives 2 - Lesson Plan

This lesson is the second in a series of two resources on Holiday Representatives. It is also the final Travel and Tourism resource of the 2006-07 year. As is fitting for a last lesson, this resource is in the form of a quiz. Have a go at the questions here to find out if you've got what it takes to be a holiday rep.

Learning objectives

By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:

  • Understand the main responsibilities of holiday representatives.
  • Know the industry changes that will affect tour operators in the UK.
  • Know what to expect if they become a rep.
  • Analyse the benefits and costs of working as a holiday rep.
