What is Enterprise? - The Characteristics of an EntrepreneurTask 2On your own, cut out the word/statements below. Separate them out into things you think are important to enterprise or being an entrepreneur and those that are not. Divide a piece of paper into two and head each section 'Important things for an entrepreneur' and 'Not essential for an entrepreneur'. Then stick your words into the appropriate section. Obtaining finance Risk Business understanding Business knowledge Having a qualification in business Being clever Having good ideas Determination Enthusiasm Energy Drive Spotting a niche market Leadership Having a good education Having lots of money Knowing what limited liability is Having a totally original idea Now compare your decisions with those of other members of your class/group. In pairs look at the results of your partner's sheet:
