  • The European Union Web site, Europa, allows students up-to-date access to employment law and EU initiatives in employment and training.
  • By browsing on Activities from the menu, then Employment and Social Affairs, a selection of items comes up which includes data about European employment laws, but more about EU policies than national ones. Background information on how EU employment legislation has evolved, (The Amsterdam Treaty) is in the overview section.
  • Latest statistics and descriptions of the main European institutions can be obtained also a list of policies of legal instruments in force which covers all European labour laws.
  • The information provided also covers discrimination and social exclusion.
  • NOTE: The Europa site is available in all the languages of the European Union and the national employment action plans for individual member states can be accessed, in the language of the host country, from this site.
