Human Resource Management - Training and Development

Department for Education and Skills (DfES)

The aim of the DfES is to "give everyone the chance, through education, training and work, to realise their full potential and thus build an inclusive and fair society and a competitive economy". The DfES has two key goals: an inclusive society, where everyone has an equal chance to achieve their full potential; and a globally competitive UK economy, with successful firms and a fair and efficient labour market. The DfES site is large and contains a number of key documents.
