Health and Safety Executive

The UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) works with the Health and Safety Commission to ensure that risks to people's health and safety from work activities are properly controlled. The site is searchable and provides a list of contacts, links to other sites and access to statistics as well as full text documents regarding all aspects of health and safety at work. This includes accident reporting procedures; working with VDUs; homeworking; and working with chemicals, asbestos and other substances. The site will be useful to students interested in workplace welfare, the health and safety of employees, or anyone generally interested in occupational health and safety issues.
