Marketing - A Marketing Text

A relatively new use of the Web for teaching is the provision of online support sites for textbooks. These sites provide material which complements the printed edition and often also provide up-to-date information to supplement the text.

Marketing Learning Centre, University of Ulster

The Marketing Learning Centre is the online support site for Marketing: Concepts and Strategies by Dibb, Simkin, Pride and Ferrels (European edition, Houghton Mifflin, 1997) and it is hosted by the University of Ulster.

  • The Internet Exercises section provides links, on a chapter by chapter basis, to various business sites and asks the student to evaluate aspects of the business relating to the chapter under study
  • The Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) option allows students, again on a chapter by chapter basis, to test their knowledge with an online, multiple choice test which will be automatically marked and returned
