Strategy - Online Courses in Strategic Management

There are a number of online strategic management courses on the Web. These vary from a series of exercises to allow students to apply their knowledge, to integrated collections of links, cases, exercises and so on. The best of these courses provide a fairly good overview of the strategic management field.

Paul Miesing's Strategic Management Course

Although the quality of the material here is patchy, the site provides a large number of very useful links for students of strategic management. There are also some interesting case studies and some good exercises to help students apply their knowledge of the subject. Some materials are under development or closed to outside access, but this is still a good resource, albeit one that is very reliant on US Web sites. In using the site it is helpful to explore it in a systematic way, working through the material and bookmarking links that seem interesting for further investigation.
