Help With Using the Educators Section

This section is specially designed to help support teachers and lecturers in schools, colleges and higher education.

Resources in this area are designed for eduactors teaching the following:

• Business Studies - A2, AS, A Level (AVCE) and BTEC
• Economics - A2 and AS
• Travel and Tourism - BTEC

The resources include lesson plans, PowerPoint presentations to introduce a topic area and activities designed to support the lesson and stimulate student learning. Each resource can be used together or as a stand alone - for example, the activities can be used for homework. Mind maps are provided with some resources to give an overview of key topics being studied.

New resources are available on a weekly basis during term time. Resources are organised by both qualification and subject area in order to locate relevant materials.

Higher Education

This section highlights areas on Biz/ed of use to this teaching area such as the Virtual Worlds and Data sections. It includes Pearson Education economics resources such as PowerPoint Models, PowerPoint Lecture Notes and Workshops. There is also a resource on using spreadsheet simulations in teaching economics and business studies.
