How do I find my way around Biz/ed?
Hints and tips on using Biz/ed
- Use the 'Biz/ed' logo on the top left hand side of each page to return to the Biz/ed home page.
- You can jump to any of the Biz/ed sections from any page by using the top navigation bar and clicking directly on the section you want.
- The left hand navigation bar contains links to the various subsections of the section you are in. For example, if you are in the Learning Materials section the left hand navigation bar will have links to economics, business, AVCE and MBA materials. You can use these links to jump straight to those subsections.
- It is possible to search the site from any page by typing your search term in the search box in the top right hand corner and clicking on the 'Search' button. This will search the Biz/ed site but not the Internet Resources Catalogue. To search for other Web sites that may be useful in the Internet Resources Catalogue you can either use the drop down boxes on the right hand side that appear on many of the pages, or you can go to the Internet Resources section via Reference on the top navigation bar.
- The Site Map gives a clear overview of the whole website.
- New additions to the site appear on the home page and you can also access the 'What's New' archive from there. It is worth viewing regularly to keep up to date with any changes or news. You can also subscribe to our mailing list which is sent out weekly during UK term time with new site updates.
- To comment on Biz/ed, select the 'Contact Us' option at the foot of every page.
You can also use your web browser to find your way around Biz/ed.
- Use the 'Go to' function (under the 'View' menu) on your browser to return to recently visited pages.
- Use Control and F to find a word in a page.
