How do I search Biz/ed?
On the top right hand corner of every page there is a search box and you can use this to search the whole of Biz/ed. Please note that this will only search Biz/ed and will not search for related web sites.
Search Tips
- For the best search results, take a little time to think about which keywords will be most effective.
- For a broad search, use a single keyword such as 'firm', but be prepared for a long list of search results.
- For a more specialised search try the advanced search page (from the link under the main search box) where you can try a combination of keywords, such as 'economics production'.
- If you enter more than one search term the search engine will look for content that has all the terms you've entered. If instead you want either one term or another, join your terms with "or." If you're looking for an exact phrase, enclose it in quotation marks.
- You can use boolean operators to refine your search:
- Start your search with one or two terms. If this returns too many resources, try narrowing down the search by adding additional words. If the search doesn't find anything, try using fewer and more general words.
