Award-Winning Biz/edSince its launch in 1996, Biz/ed has been nominated and shortlisted for a number of awards. Biz/ed continues to garner accolades worldwide. Biz/ed is delighted to have been shortlisted for the BETT Awards 2008. Biz/ed made the shortlist in the category of 'Post-16 Education and Training', up against products from BBC Learning, among others. The BETT Awards highlight exemplar digital products intended for the education marketplace. BETT is the largest educational technology exhibition in the world. It is the result of a public/private partnership between Becta, the UK Government's lead agency for ICT in education, BESA, the trade association representing the UK educational supply industry and Emap Education. The Awards define exemplar products as those which are fit for imitation. The criteria include product design, support of higher order skills and the promotion of effective learning and teaching styles. For the technical evaluation, judges focus on the robustness and resilience of the product, and its accessibility for those with specific needs. Fit for imitation? Yes, but there is really only one Biz/ed. Biz/ed: Award-Winning Business Education
