Design a Letterhead

The aim of this activity is to produce a letterhead for Carpenter's Cars to reflect the style of the Company.

Complete this activity in Publisher, Word or a desk top publishing program. Try looking at existing Company letterheads for ideas.

You might find it easier to sketch some ideas on paper first. Include lines and boxes and graphics if appropriate, and use the bottom as well as the top of the page if you wish.

Write a Letter to the Supplier

Write a letter using the letterhead you have now created.

The letter is from Carpenter's Cars and is to their supplier. In the main text of the letter you need to request delivery for the following cars:

N reg Honda Civic, 1.3 @ £8995

P reg Peugeot 106, 1.6 @ £10,295

E reg Volvo 340, 1.7 @ £1,695

Layout and content is important don't forget to include:

• Reference number
• Date
• Inside address
• Salutation
• Text of letter
• Close
