Teacher's Guide - Main site sections
The site is split into four main areas and these are accessible from the top navigation bar from anywhere within the site:
- Monetary policy - this section has a large proportion of the content of the site and looks at inflation and also at the work of the MPC to keep inflation under control.
- Markets - this section is split down into sub-sections looking at intervention in the money markets and also at intervention in the foreign exchange market.
- Money - this section looks at money and the work of the various financial institutions. It considers some of the core material about the functions and attributes of money and also the work of the commercial banks and the central bank to maintain the integrity of money.
- Europe - this section is split into sub-sections looking at the work of the ECB and also the implications of the introduction of the euro.
