PC Ready Reckoner - Downloadable Software

The ideas behind the Virtual Economy model owe much to the program PC Ready Reckoner developed by David Turner and Gary MacDonald and now maintained and distributed by the ESRC Macroeconomic Modelling Bureau. This allows comparison of the macroeconomic consequences of a variety of economic shocks over three different models. This program runs on any IBM compatible PC and can now be downloaded free of charge in self-exploding zip file format. Copy the file 'pcrr.exe' to the directory where you want the program to live. Run the executable to produce all the program files and then run 'rr.exe' to start the program itself.
