Policy Tools

This section of the Virtual Economy looks at all the variables that are used as policy tools in the model. The main policy tools available are:

• Income tax
• VAT
• Government expenditure
• Interest rate

For each variable there is:

• An explanation of the meaning of the variable
• Any relevant theories related to that variable
• Worksheets
